Introduction to CAR T-cell Therapy & Toxicity

  • Develop a practical framework to understand CAR T-cell toxicity
  • Learn mechanisms of immunocompromise and increased risk of infection post CAR T-cell therapy
  • Review pathophysiology of and treatment for common acute toxicities including cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and Immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS)
