Dr. Kershner completed her Medical Toxicology Fellowship at VCU in 2022 and continued her tenure there by joining the faculty. Emily's passion for medical toxicology is clearly demonstrated through her excitement to teach and learn the subject every day. In her free time, she enjoys baking and gardening with her wild toddler daughter, watching her infant son babble, and playing schedule Tetris with her husband.
